just finished hendon mob game,only 75 entrants tonight.needed to finish in top 20 for league points,just played tight first session,picked up a few pots here and there people seemed to be dropping out at regular intervals,made it to final table somehow,massive luck when my aq all in v ak,queen on flop and into top 3,soon down to final 3,other 2 playing fairly tight so picked up a lot of blinds with pot sized raises(had hands every time of course),1 more out and heads up,about 15000 chip defecit but managed to turn it round and win.$240 but more important 20 pts to put myself clear in the league.also the win got me BPP back again so great night for me.

lost 1st place in the BPP rankings.last nights focus game the virgin v points freeroll,about 360 players i finished well down the field,GAF took good advantage getting his required points to go back to the top,be striving to get back there asap.

103 players this week,first hand qq in bb,raised 3x bb,2 callers.flop a7q,checked,i checked button goes all in,cant believe he is slow playing aa so i call,he shows 44 turn gives me quads,nice double to start.3rd hand gives me aa 1 guy all in for 1500 i call he shows 88 no more help so up to 4700 and chip leader,never played a hand for next 30 mins.dealt kk in sb,all folded to me,bb has 1200 in chips i raise to 400 he goes all in with no hesitation,i think a little then call he shows ak,ace on flop and river,back down to 3100 and 15th place.no more action before break.break sees me in 19th,a few people rebuy for $100,i decide to stick with what i have.
2nd hour take a couple of small pots but nothing much,down to 38th with 58 left in.next bb i get jj all fold to sb who raises to 1200(about half my stack)i decide to call flop gives me a set.all in,he calls and shows aa,my set holds up.back to 12th just under 5k.35 left i get jj again early position raise 2xbb all fold to bb he goes all in,he has done this numerous times defending his bb so i call,he shows kk(big oops)hits his set on turn and im down to 800 chips.next hand 88 and i push all in 2 callers,10 10 and k k.kk hold up and im out 31st.improvement on last week but still not near the money(top 18 paid).be trying again next week.

just finished this game.learned just before the start that i was tonights bounty.managed to double up early on when valiant saw £ signs before his eyes,his 10-10 never troubling my j-j(phew)
card dead up to first break.2nd session not much better then q-q,philossify all in before me so decided to gamble,he showed 7-7,great i thought,flop no help,turn no help,river????????
yep 7,poker can be so cruel.
